Job Description

As the IT Business Analyst you will accurately capture the IT requirements of the stakeholders, proactively suggesting efficient process improvements where possible. The position provides our agile project work teams with concise and detailed requirements documentation that enable the delivery of new IT solutions with desired outcomes.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Support fast effective delivery of Business Requirements documentation
  • Deliver concise detailed business requirements to business representatives, technical, test, documentation and rollout/change management teams
  • Delivery efficient process outcomes which are aligned with business needs
  • Support the ITS team in delivering solutions that meet the business priorities and objectives
  • The role may require interstate travel

You will bring a strong customer focus, are friendly and helpful and have great communication skills. You're also able to juggle multiple requests and manage stakeholder expectations and your own time.

Skills & Experience:

  • 3-5 years of business analysis experience in a retail environment
  • Relevant project management qualifications
  • Demonstrated systems knowledge
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills
  • Strong communication skills in both written and verbal format
  • Able to deliver concise, detailed requirements documentation for complex projects
  • Problem and Project ownership
  • Comfortable & skilled at facilitating workshops and meetings
  • Able to communicate and articulate analysis to stakeholders across the business with varied technical ability

Systems knowledge/technical skillset:

  • Competency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Jira and Atlassian
  • Able to analyse business processes and understand IT concepts
  • Oracle EBS functional knowledge
